In the news department, Hitomi and inadas have been making recent blog posts that Hitomi has recently finished a demo. Hopefully this demo leads to a new single either later this year or early next year! Subject: Interview + 9th Single Ranking + New Tour Posted By Shinigami Niko Date: 2008.06.13 The site livedoor has recently updated with an interview with Hitomi! Hitomi talks about her new single, and there's a bunch of new pictures of Hitomi available too! The single has also been out for a week and the rankings are in! For its first week, "Atashi no Machi, Ashita no Machi" sold a disappointing 2,495 copies and ranked at #43. While this is higher than most of her "Bamboo Collage" era singles, the sales are much lower than expected, especially with an anime tie-in. And lastly, Hitomi will be holding a new tour in August! The tour will contain a total of 6 concerts and is titled "Ikenai Van Tour 2008 'Atashi no Machi, Ashita no Machi' "! Subject: Atashi no Machi, Ashita no Machi PV! The new look also included the coverart for her new single, plus samples of the song! Subject: New Single Information! Posted By Shinigami Niko Date: 2008.04.09 It's now been revealed officially that there will be a total of three new songs on the single! This includes "Atashi no Machi, Ashita no Machi" and "mother's car", which means that there's one more song to be revealed! Subject: Happy 19th Birthday, Hitomi! Posted By Shinigami Niko Date: 2008.04.08 In case you didn't know, today is Hitomi's 19th birthday! Be sure to give her birthday congratulations on her BBS! Also, the title of her b-side song has been revealed. The new song will be called "mother's car". An interesting title to say the least.
